1.Steel smelting and rolling

Steel smelting quality control, rolling quality control and later product deep processing are equally important. HZJX adopts the production process of refining + vacuum + continuous casting + drilling + surface peeling at the production site of Shanghai Baosteel Group. The key points of strict quality control include but are not limited to:

·Remains of harmful elements Pb, Sn, Sb, As, etc. ≤0.01%
·Gas content O≤10ppm, H≤2ppm rolling surface decarburization≤0.05mm

2.Thread Designing and Manufactuning

Scientific and standard thread tooth profile design is the basis for high-quality threaded connections of drill products, and production that strictly adheres to thread dimensional accuracy is the only way to ensure excellent threaded connection performance. Inaccurate thread connection, too large or too small matching clearance, will cause high-frequency vibration and shaking of the thread part of the drill tool during the rock drilling process, resulting in local working high temperature, which will cause the thread part to break.

3.Heat treatment: Overall carburizing + Air cooling quenching + Tempering

Overall carburizing+ air-cooled quenching + tempering process keeps the product high in toughness, and air-cooled quenching greatly improves its surface hardness and overall strength indicators.
·Heat treatment deformation ≤ 2%

4.Thread reinforcement

In order to obtain a higher service life and effect of the thread, the thread part is strengthened specifically to improve its strength and wear resistance.
