Symmetric/Centrex/Symmitrix Drilling System
Symmetric is a concentric drilling system with retrievable pilot bits.
The ring bit will be left in the hole after drilling finished.
This system drills in any direction and in any type of ground condition.
It is, in fact, the most flexible and efficient overburden system on the markettoday.
The Symmetric components are made up of:
---A pilot bits with large internal flushing holes and external flushinggrooves
---Symmetrical ring bit (reamer) with internal bayonet coupling
---Casing shoe for driving of casing.
The Pilot bits is attached to any common DTH hammer shank.
The ProDrill symmetric drilling system is designed to drill and case a hole simultaneously through unstabled ground conditions. The driver bit incorporated with a satisficial ring or reusable ring makes a full face head design which significantly improves the penetration rate and hole straightness of drilling. The internal flushing grooves together with the built-in casing shoes gives a good seal to the button of the drilling hole, and thus minimising the disruption of the surronding of the drill hole.

Assembly and drilling process:
A. Remove the front joint of the impactor, install the main drill on the front joint of the impactor, and screw it into the impactor.
B. Insert the alloy ring from the head of the main drill bit and rotate it to the right to make the card position of the two bits. The impactor with the drill bit is erected.
C. Insert the tube boot from the tail of the impactor and screw it on the thread of the alloy ring (left-handed).
D. Insert the heel from the tail of the impactor into the inside of the tube and weld the tube and the tube.
E. Link the assembled heel system to the rig through the drill pipe.
F. Start the drilling rig and start drilling (right-hand drilling). When the drilling depth is close to the length of the pipe, stop and remove the exposed drill pipe (the drill pipe inside the pipe cannot be unloaded), plus a new heel pipe; the new heel pipe and the upper heel pipe (The heel that has entered the rock formation) is linked by electric welding, and the drill pipe is connected again to continue drilling. This is repeated until the drilling depth reaches the specified requirements.
G. After the drilling is completed, make the drill pipe left-handed 5-10° (or left-handed 10-15mm) and lift the drill pipe upward to disengage the alloy ring from the main drill bit (the drill pipe must stop left-handed after the main drill bit and the alloy ring are disengaged). Otherwise, the drill pipe will fall into the hole several times, and the drill pipe will be lifted again. When the whole drill pipe is exposed, use a wrench to clamp the drill pipe in the pipe (to prevent the drill pipe from falling in the pipe) and remove it. Exposed to the outer drill pipe. The rig is lowered, the link is followed by the drill pipe in the pipe, the wrench is loosened, and the drill pipe is lifted again, so that it is repeated until the main drill bit is pulled out.
H. Note: An alloy ring, a tube shoe and multiple heel tubes are required for each hole drilled; the main drill bit can be reused.
